I want to make logcakes for Christmas, so, the first step to accomplishing this task is to learn how to swiss roll.. (:
i've learnt it once at Creative Culinaire but it was many many months ago and i couldn't exactly remember!
so i had to bake another swiss roll and try again...
First step was to bake the sponge right?
i did... i mixed the batter and put it into the pan and popped it into the oven...
and 10 minutes later, there was a loud pop sound and all the lights in the house went out..
best ah.. power failure when my cake in the oven! >.<
ok... so i just continue with my life, take the chocolate sponge out of the oven, cool it, roll it. haha. couldn't be bothered to whip up chocolate cream and open the cherries. so i just anyhow make whipping cream and slap it in the centre of the sponge.. hahaha.
and then the mother wanted to try
so i slapped more whip cream on and threw a strawberry on top.
WAHAHAH. power failure master piece....
